Vision, Mission & Strategy

Vision, Mission & Strategy

We promote and support health equity, inclusion, and dignity for all people, particularly those affected by leprosy, other neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), disability, and social injustice.

NLR Nepal is undertaking program activities guided by its multi-annual strategy (2022–2025), aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and national priorities. Our approach emphasizes innovation, research, and evidence-based practice, making use of digitalization, data-driven decision-making, and spatial intelligence to achieve lasting results. Projects are implemented in close collaboration with local governments, communities, and civil society, fulfilling the requirements set by the Government of Nepal.

As members of the NLR Alliance, coordinated by the NLR International Office (NLR IO), we agree and commit to adhering to the shared vision and mission of the Alliance, while contributing Nepal’s unique expertise in preventive chemoprophylaxis (PEP), digital health, and inclusive development to global learning.

NLR Nepal works to advance health equity and inclusive development by empowering communities, strengthening systems, and addressing public health and social challenges through research, innovation, and partnerships.
